The purpose of this evaluation kit is to provide designers with a convenient way to evaluate the electrical and optical performance of Avago 12-channel MiniPOD transmitter and receiver modules. A downloadable user guide is available upon request, which provides full description of the evaluation kit along with basic operating instructions.

The AFBR-800EVB evaluation board is to be used in conjunction with the Avago AFBR-81uVxyZ and AFBR-82uVxyZ family of Tx and Rx MiniPOD modules.

• AFBR-800RTL: The MiniPOD dust cover opener tool is created to open the dust cover without damage and is easily used by any operator.
• AFBR-800FTL: The PRIZM Connector Tool is composed of multiple features for the correct removal or extraction of PRIZ connectors used for Avago MINIPOD and MicroPOD products.
• AFBR-800ETL: The MiniPOD extraction tool is created from readily available standard tweezers.
